Entry Processing Complete

Aside from a few bathroom and meal breaks, I've been working non-stop since my last blog post on getting the last of the entries processed and posted...and it's FINALLY finished!! All contest entries are now posted! If you do not see yours and/or have not received an official confirmation e-mail by now, please contact me ASAP.

Since my Photobucket account is getting perilously close to its 10 GB bandwidth limit, you're encouraged to use the above link to view the entries for the time being, in the interest of reserving what's left for the winners announcement. They are listed there in alphabetical order. (It provides the option of listing the pictures by upload date, but I'd already uploaded them in alphabetical order before I found that out. ^^;) Enjoy!

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. x_x Seriously, after you came back, I was checking the page every few hours to see new entries, and there were ALWAYS new ones! And that's a lot of work you're doing - sending confirmation e-mails, uploading the images, making thumbnails, creating new html... and you still managed it all in one day. I'm really, really impressed by your dedication. Thank you again for so much time and effort spent!

Oh, heh, seeing all the effort everyone's putting into their awesome art, it's the least I could do! ^^;

I have to ask, Ms. Hylian Reploid, are you anything of an artist yourself? You should show us what your drawings look like, just for fun. Your haiku was really nice, though. :D

Amazing work throughout all of this! You did a lot of informative updating so everyone always knew what was going on.

The contest entries are beautiful! There are so many, too, so I guess it achieved the goal of the contest-- to produce more Zelda fanart. Will you be leaving the entries up even once the contest is done?

Good job getting them all posted. And thanks once again for giving someone the opportunity to win a wii. Good luck to everyone and I'm sure the winner will have a great prize!

Holy cow, the last set brings a few more amazing ones! Again, I do not envy your position having to judge all of these. (unless I could pick my own to win :P)

By the way, "YEAAARRGH! I'M CURSED!!" deserves a cookie. Made me laugh out loud :D

My art? I haven't drawn much lately, though I used to all the time growing up. Here's a pic of a goomba I did on an oekaki board (try not to laugh):

Yes, the entries will remain in Photobucket as a gallery. Depending on how things go in the future, I may use the account for future contests and/or additional art submissions too.

I'm so glad I don't have to judge lol. I'd be stuck between 2 fanart for 1st place.

Good luck with the judging!

Whoa, I'm so glad I don't have to judge this. There are so many good ones! Some are good for originality, amusement, seriousness, color, artistic skills, so much! *dies* I feel sorry for you in a way. :P

Good luck all. These are some awesome pieces. I've found a few more people to watch on DA due to this contest. XD

Oh man... poor woman.. I am happy I am not in your shoes. When will the winner be chosen?

I'm impressed and humbled by the magnitude of hard work I've seen from everyone, and it's really inspiring. There are a lot of art works that I would like to compliment specifically, but I don't think anyone would notice if I said them here. I tried googling some of the usernames but couldn't find anything. *_* Is there any way we can start a comment board or something, where we can leave messages to other artists? or is that a bad idea (too much work/hurt feelings, etc.)

In any case, thank you so much, HR, for everything you've put into this contest. *Throws flowers at your feet*

Indeed, the combination of everyone's efforts has really made this event turn out great! It makes me happy to do everything I can to keep things running smoothly. I'm afraid I don't have the knowhow to build an automated message board or the time to maintain a manual one, but I imagine that if someone isn't interested enough in comments to check them here, they probably wouldn't be checked on the board either. But I'm planning on posting a blog entry to which everyone can comment with their web sites so there's a nice, central location to refer to if you're interested in viewing contestants' sites or DA accounts. I'm sure comments would be much appreciated there!

Artists who have accounts on sites like DeviantArt or have personal websites that host their art should post some links! :D
